I am all about sharing food, sharing recipes, and sharing good bottles of wine (OK maybe less about sharing the wine…). I started this blog so I can post about my latest attempts at culinary greatness and culinary failures, cook-offs and events, and other random food-related stuff that strikes my fancy.

I live in New York and have a tiny kitchen (welcome to life). I love improvising and cooking without recipes. I am a fairly recent and very enthusiastic convert to baking, which does in fact require measuring — something I never used to love. I quit my job at a graphic design and branding firm so I could work in food, whatever that means. So this is a repository for thoughts, musings, experiments, and mostly joy.

If you want to get in touch with me for this or any other reason (except hate mail, I don’t like that), email me at: rachelbeth.nyc [at] gmail [dot] com. You can also hire me to cook for you on Kitchensurfing! Check out my profile.
